Are all Comenity Bank credit if you ask for a CLI always a HP now?

Never a HP for me and that includes the two CLIs I got this week.

To date, all of my Comenity CLIs have been SPs, but I only carry a store card right now, no cobranded cards, so I can't speak to those.

I think if your card is Comenity Capital (as opposed to just Comenity) it's got a higher chance of being a hard pull.

I'm getting CLIs monthly like clockwork. Only $200 a month, but always a SP.

But they're store cards, which might be a factor.

I didn't know you could get one every month. I've been waiting for my next 6 month mark to hit before hitting the button again. Off to try.......

Let us know how it goes. I wasn't able to get anything until the six-month mark, and it is now literally every 31 days (I forgot that Sept had 30 days, so ended up denied in Oct...tried the next day, and $200 more on each card)

Yes on the one one I have. I started with a $300 or $350 limit-can't remember. Was denied monthly from 3 mo mark to the 9 mo mark. Then 2 months ago, my 9th month-I got one-Was going to wait another 6 but after this I hit the button and got another. I haven't even used it since the last CLI. Thx for sharing. Now I will hit the button monthly.

So it is every 31 days or every month on the same day? Need to add this to my iCal-I'm a little OCD when it comes to my credit bookkeeping. Lol

Just keep in mind what happened LAST year around this time with Comenity... Several people who had low util & good scores but were actively playing the monthly CLI game got their accounts closed.

Not saying don't do it... Just keep watchful!

And one more questions-is this only Comenity or should I be checking my Synchrony Cards Monthly as well? (I have 3 of those so I would love that! Lol)

It seems to be every 31 days.

And I am being VERY conservative with Synch right now, so not willing to try this with them.
