Cabelas CLD?!

I just logged in to make sure that my card was paid, I always PIF... and I got a CLD?! From 4500 to $4000??? Not sure why check my reports and nothing's changed.. I was just planning on asking for a CLI !

Interesting, seems like a minor CLD, wonder what prompted that, who issues the Cabela card?

Strange... Barclay would have taken the 4k and left you with $500. Not such a bad CLD for sure.

World's Foremost Bank issues them, but Cap1 is supposed to be buying the portfolio.

Sorry this happened, OP. I believe I remember a situation on the board in which Cabela's adjusted limits downward due to lack of use and/or minimal use.

When was the last time you used the card, and how much spend have you been putting on the card?

Bass Pro purchased Cabela's and Capital One purchased the Cabela's Club Visa cards. There is another thread on myfico dating back to October 3, 2016 on this subject.

I'm a silver member and have spent 11,000 on it in 2016, haven't used it in a little while though... nothing on my CR has changed?. I'll give them a call Monday and update the thread

Barclays just CLD me so I closed it. Luckily I had a zero balance.
If I would have only gotten a $500 decrease maybe I would have kept it.
Either way... sorry op. Sucks no matter what. If you establish good history and do everything as you should... it really sucks when you get crapped on. It's the principle IMO.

We are seeing more situations on the board recently overall of different creditors lowering limits either due to non-use or to low usage. It may continue with different lenders as we see how this plays out.

Yeah they said the account has had little activity recently and i could request a CLI anytime, he told me around a 690 is a good score for a CLI (he would assume) I told him I was 754 EQ but didn't want a HP maybe some other time
