Victoria Secret CLI time?

So, I have tried for a CLI with commentiy's Victoria secret card, currently a $250 limit. My credit was in the low 500s when I got the card about 5 months ago. and is now well over 150 points higher with many of the negative items removd and quite a few much higher real credit cards on my file. Now, my question, I want a CLI on this card, after some reading, it seems that my attempts to get some luv have been denied due to not having the card for 6 months. My question is, how is this calulated? Is it by days or by months?

Being as I signed up for the commenity website on August 31 2016, I would say that this is the day that I got approved for the caard(or receieved the card dont recall if I receieved the card before signing up for commenity website or was just approved for it). so, would this mean that I should be in good shape to ask for a credit limit increase on February 28 2017? Also, I read many people getting denied hitting the button on the commentity website, but claiming to have success with the automated phone system. Any help with the number to this automated system that allows me to ask for a request? Thank you in advance. I don't really need the CLI, but it may make me want to use the card, and of course, with it being apart of my Credit profile, why not try and get as high a limit as I can for the card? :-)

In my experience, you can hit the CLI button on Comenity sites every month without any issue. When I was rebuilding and in your shoes, every month I went through and hit it on The Limited, Express, VS, and Jcrew. I soon figured out that it worked every 3 months - for me, anyway. Give it a shot.

I've read of some people doing so every 1-3 months as well, but many of them would get denied the FIRST CLI if doing it before 6 months or so. did you get your first CLI within 3 months? Also, did you make purchases with the card before requesting a CLI? Did you carry a balance on the card when you requested that first CLI?

It took mine about 6 months to start to see increases. One thing you may look at in a denial letter is when they last pulled a report. Even though your scores may have come up recently, they may be using old info. Mine would show scores that were 3 months old until they updated one month; then I have seen increases consistently about every 31 days

6-9 months is common for Comenity.

I got VS late February 2016 and it was mid December before the button worked for me. Unable to increase anymore as of yet. So the 31 day rule that many reference hasn't worked for me.

Wait til after the 6th statement even if your score went from 500-800 it won't matter if it's before the 6th

Echoing the sp issue. They're very often looking at an outdated report. It may help to see when your issuers are SP you. E.g. target sp me every 3 months and so far I've gotten a CLI every time.

dont know why I foolishly think 6 months from card opening. but its 6th statemen(about 7 months from card opening)?

Yeah I'd say minimum 6th statement but for many comenity is 9 months.

You don't have to wait for the 6th statement. It's 6 months. I only used my card twice in 6 months so I only generated two statements. My card got an increase at 6 months and then 2 months later. It doesn't matter if you hit the button early because it's a soft pull. You can try again if you tried to early with no harm.

I got the same SL of $250.00 on 8/22/16... I charged maybe 40.00 and paid it over after the statement cut. I didn't charge anything else until i did some X-mas shopping in Mid December. I charged up to my limit.... then i got on to pay my bill and noticed that they gave me an auto increase of $50.00. I am new to the card

You only waited 6 months from the date of your card being approved?

Mine started after 6 months, 350 > 550 > 750. I just did it yesterday.

My credit line started at $350 and I think I starting hitting the love button around 4-5 month and I started receiving increases. I also used my card monthly and paid it off. Once it hit the six month mark, I received another increase. I would hit the love button every 2-3 months. Now my card will be 2 years old next month and its grown from $350 to its max $3000. All of the increases were soft pulls and your card will definitely grow. No worries there. Last time I hit the love button it says that my CL is at the highest amount Comenity offers for VS. Its a great rewards card and I love it for the perks! I have the Forever Angel Card.

Is the max CL on this card really only $3k?

I'm too scared of Comenity to apply for a CLI. I swore I would never "get in bed with" Comenity but the perks of this card were too good to pass on. Hopefully I will get auto CLI luv from them .

I've only had the card for 3 months and so far so good. Def not trying to discourage you from applying for a CLI.... just wanted to share my point of view.

I got mine in December of 2015, the luv button started working in August for $200/ea, once a month like clockwork until I hit $1250 which is where I currently am, I just haven't tried it again since December 2016 so I wouldn't be surprised if there's another $200 in the barrel, I just haven't checked.

I got my card six months ago. Haven't ever used it. Just hit the luv button, approved 500>700.
