Converting BOA Secured?

Just curious. I just opened a BOA secured card. When I receive it will they convert it to one of their other cards that earn rewards or miles? I plan on using it as my everyday card and paying it off in full each month.,

More than likely it will stay the same card after it unsecures, you can however request a PC when it graduates. What you can PC it, you will have limitations to what you can PC to but you should be able to convert it to a 3-2-1 rewards card. Some people have had success adding the 3-2-1 rewards structure while the card is still secured, this will be a YMMV situation, Best of luck and welcome to the forums.

I was approved for BOA secured but denied for secured Discover and secured Capital One. I have open sky and US Bank Skypass. Any other secured cards I can try preferably prime. Thanks
