After waiting for 2 years for Finstar to combine his 2 50k cards to see if he got AA, I finally gave in and combined my two accounts...

New combined limit of 43k

Are you savings up your miles for something specific? That's a pretty large balance. I'm TOTALLY jealous!!! I recently redeemed all of my miles for various gift cards.

No, I'm not saying up for anything specific. I just let them sit there until I think about it or I come up with some far fetched idea to use them on. I also have 917,000 Amex points as of today... I need to come up with some exotic trip/experience lol

Absolutely, Ahmed - the perks are none except the 2 points per dollar spent, which can easily offset the fee. Especially if you redeem for travel statement credit, which I think has the best value at 100 points per $1

Essentially, you need to spend $3000 minimum per year to pay for the fee. Anything after that is pure rewards. I should also add that I put big ticket work purchases on this card, so that helps.
