Unusual/Unique Cards

Anyone know of any unique... unusual... not commonly talked of on here... cards or posts or websites that have them? Things like the equality card or the pitsburg zoo card? Or good reward cards not commonly talked of on here. Searched but couldn't find much (except the zoo card. Lol)

It is a charity card that earns 1% back to be donated to a charity and can be counted as a tax deduction. Obviously, using a Double Cash and using that money to donate makes more sense. But it is an unusual/unique card. Issued by Commerce Bank of Missouri. And, as an aside, it uses the new MasterCard, or mastercard, logo. Commerce Bank also has a St. Louis Blues card, Kanas City Royals card and a Drury Gold Key card (hotel chain-I've only seen one here and it is a throwback to the late 1970s).

How about that JCB card? Someone on here has one, I believe. It's a cool looking card. I think if you live in California you can apply. Don't know if I'm allowed to post a link to their site but it's easy to Google.

Outside of cards with very restricted eligibility, great cards tend to be popular and get a lot of discussion. If hardly anyone on here is familiar with a card, it's probably mediocre.

For me, novelty isn't a reason to get a card. I like to be able to do research in advance to get a good understanding of a card, and that usually means learning from others who have it and make the most of it.

@wasCB14. I agree. I'm not looking for novelty cards. More cards I have never heard of that are worth hearing about. I found this article called something like "the top 10 cards you probably have never heard of" and it was great. Granted I did hear of most of them but there were a few I didn't. I believe I posted about them back in December maybe. I know Huntington was on there, and tho some had heard of it-I hadn't at the time; and now it is one of my favorite cards I have. I think Santander was on there as a 4% cash back card for gas and food maybe.... things like that. Cards that should get more talk that people would be interested in.

I have a us bank national parks visa, kind of obscure lol. Umb visa has some novelty cards like hello kitty visa.

For Washington State Residents only:

Inspirus Visa Signature Card

It's a 2% everywhere card from a friendly local CU up this way - the card looks pretty sharp, too

(They also do 7.00% APY on your first $500 in Savings and Checking - $1,000 total)

Union Bank
Commerce Bank Garfield card (I don't think you can apply anymore)
Stonegate (Cuba card)
Equality card if that still counts
FNBO ANA and JAL cards (you rarely see them here)

Japan Airlines sounds intersting, B. Was it difficult to get? FNBO seems so conservative from all I have read, but I've never applied with them.

I would love a 2% card in WI or CA.
Santander has a good one too that is like a 4/3/2% card IIRC but everyone said stay away from them. Not oddball but one that isn't talked about as much on here

@Hum..... what was your limit like on the Equality card? Score at the time if you remember? I believe they pull EQ IIRC. My friend applied and got denied for unable to verify identity and he never Persued it.

Sorry Dj, just wanted to go down memory lane but for me at time it was a card ive never heard of. Its amazing how if you go to nerwallet or other cc finder they claim there are thousands of cards to choose from but i only end up seeing like same 20-25 lol. I would be neat to get a 1 card from each state that can only be obtained in said state lol. Maybe a lottery winners bucket list
