Ebay Extras Mastercard experience?

Anybody else have this card? I got it about a month ago, and I *REALLY* want to like it (Mainly because I can use my PayPal Buisiness Debit to pay car payment and utility bills on it) but the payments don't post until like 4 or 5 days after the payments made... I hate having money tied up in limbo like that. Lol. Even Capital One goes through the same day. Anyone with this card or another Synchrony card? Does the payment process get any better? Kinda considering tossing it in a sock drawer if this is how the experience will always be...

The no annual fee is nice but payments have been horribly slow. Only had it 3 months.

I have had this card since Sep 2016. Payments will take a day extra may be but will post no problem like any other synchrony card. On feb 15th they gave me auto cli from 3000 to 5000 and offered me 1000 bonus points after 5 purchases before feb 28th. I made five small mp3 purchases on amazon . I like that it gives 3 points per dollar for gas . Starting from 1500 points you can redeem rewards for gift cards of various brands such as target, itunes , starbucks,shell, bp and many more . 25$ minimum redemption for walmart and many other brands. But i think they keep changing these minimum redemptions too.i am waiting for my next statement to update my rewards so that i can redeem my rewards. The rewards expire after 2 years i think.

I have had this card since October 2016. I have never had any problems with it. My only pet peeve is that they only started me with a $900 limit and I have tried the CLI button twice with no luck. Any ideas on getting a limit increase? I have heard of backdoor numbers but haven't seen any posted for this card. I always pay way more than is due. Anyways, as I was saying my payments post super fast! For instance if I submit a payment with todays date, it is available tomorrow, even before they take the money from my bank account. They normally pull the money from my account the day after they make it available so in essence they are giving me the funds before they take it from me (the same with Capital One).

The points system of course is mostly likely not the best. I like my Quicksilver One system much better. I also have Synchrony's Walmart card and Amazon Prime Store card. No problems with them either. Fast payment posting and available credit update and I am in the United States Virgin Islands and that is where my bank payments are pulled from. Not sure why you guys are having and issue with this. you might try speaking with customer service. Hope you guys end up liking it in the end like I do.

You can give Credit Solutions a call; there are a few different numbers but I've had really good luck with the one that routes overseas: 877-379-8173

Like you, I've never had issues with payments posting in a timely manner. I don't use their webpay, though... I 'push' the payment from my bank's bill pay so that likely makes a difference. it's not instant (of course) but usually within a couple of days the payment has posted and the credit is available.

Realized you asked specifically about the Ebay card, not the PayPal card. They look like the same product to me so I am going to leave my original comments.

I have have this card, was upgraded as part of the PayPal Smart Connect-gate of 2016. Frankly, I dont use it. I think I have run $85 through it for a Paypal Gifts iTunes card, and that is it. They left a bad taste in my mouth when they CLOSED my 10yr old Paypal SC account, and opened this NEW account in May 2016 after lying to me on many occasions that the account would be backdated to the original 2006 open date of my SC account....

I find the points to be, well, pointless. I'll never use it as my daily swiper so the points will never amount to much. It's on my shortlist of cards to axe if CC exposure is ever a concern to other creditors.

So I dont have a whole lot of use for Syncrony and/or their %$#@ card. Sorry for the :rant: but there you go.

As I digress, I loved the Paypal SC because they ran the 6mo 0% deals on certain purchases so I could pay over time on large Ebay and Home Depot transactions, but that is now gone.

Does anyone know if the 3x and 2x are 3% and 2% respectively?

I dont use the Paypal Extra MC card since the "3x points" really translates out to 2.1%. $50 credit = 6000pts instead of 5000
