Sp luv most times on Wally, TRU, etc. I say most because there could always be an outside chance of hp. I did get ine from Amazon while chating on my Experian, go figure( not sure if having my TU locked at time caused this). But normally you can push the button with only threat of receiving a denial letter. I think its better to call CS to request one. Normally can get more that way if eligble.

Simple process, just let them know youd like a credit limit increase, no need to make up any excuses, they will ask your income and put you on hold 2-3 minutes and come back either with an approval, counter , or a no. Im not sure if you can do all accounts in one phone call, i always do one at a time but i guess you good. Your welcome and good luck

I'm considering asking for a CLI on my Amazon Store Card after my March payment (set up for the 24th) has posted. I've also read that talking to a customer-service rep via the online chat often (if not 100% of the time) works in getting a CLI approved. I'm hearing-impaired (though I do have a TDD) so I'd personally prefer to do that first to avoid the hassle of having to place a phone call.

You don't need to wait. Ask now and ask for a high limit and they will counter if necessary.

Call-don't do it online. I've been denied online and minutes later approved for a huge amount when calling. Ask for maybe $5k more than you have and they will counter.

I got approved for a Walmart Card from a pre-qualified letter, and this got my foot in the door with Synchrony last Thursday, then on the same day I applied and got Amazon Prime Store Card and Paypal Extra's Mastercard. I called credit solutions for Walmart, and they wouldn't budge on a CLI since I just opened the account. So that made me a little hesitant to ask for CLI with Amazon and Paypal Mastercard. I have been doing research and have seen some people report they were denied a CLI on one card, but got one on another card the same day. It seems like its the luck of the draw! After this month, I am going in the garden to just let things grow with good payment history and SP CLI.

I tried for a CLI about two weeks ago (March 24), but got denied even though I called Synchrony's Credit Solutions. As I've discussed elsewhere, I suspect, notwithstanding the reasons stated in the denial letter (a couple of which I think to be rather nonsensical under the circumstances) that I was turned down because my actual TU FICO was too low - 627, which is a whopping 49 points lower than the VS figure - and because of my recent mini-spree over the preceding month. Also, I think I may have erred in asking for too much of a CLI; I was advised to ask for $10k, but trimmed it down to $6k; I have no way to tell, and perhaps I might have been declined anyway, but if I'd asked for a more modest CLI - say, $1200 to bring my line up to an even $2k - I might have had better luck.

I also determined that for some reason, TU is not including (at least not yet) my Penfed car loan or my Discover It card, which may explain why that score is at least 30 points lower than either EQ (659) or EX (662). However the case, I'm going to give it a few months to build up again and then revisit the question of asking for a CLI again, this time for a much smaller amount (aiming for a total comparable to my Discover or Cap 1 unsecured).

Syncrony likes me...Have 5 lines with them. Walmart card has gone from 1500 to 6k in a short time, all luv button CLI

Meatman, when did you first try the LUV button? Did you wait for a couple statements or did you ask for CLI when you got the card? I just got in with Synchrony, approved for 3 cards last week starting with a pre-qualification letter from Walmart. I haven't gotten any of the cards yet, but I am able to sign in with Paypals Extra Mastercard and Amazon Prime accounts and I don't have the LUV button option yet. Maybe it will appear after I get the cards and activate them?

Hypno, with a bit tightening up of immediate cli requests these last few months, id recommend to at least let 1 statement cut and then try again.Sometimes all they want is at least a morhs use lol. Ive noted this trend most recently and many reported scoring that 1st increase after a 1st statement cut. If you dont get it after 1, try after the second Good luck

I do not remember when I did my 1st one but had to get the card (walmart) to open up the online account. I was approved for it Feb 1....probably got the online account going two weeks later.....SO, guessing, since the middle of Feb till now from 1500 to 6 k....I used the luv button probably 4 times...hope that helps.
