Using Amazon Prime Visa for Hotelstorm

As a big Amazon user, I love using the new Amazon Prime Rewards card. However, I am worried about Amazon's new Hotelstorm deal. Does it give Amazon Prime card holders 5% cash back if we book hotels through them? I get 5% cash back when I buy Hotels.com gift cards and Hyatt hotel gift cards, but I prefer more variety if possible and Hotelstorm's portal offers better deals.

Any feedback from those that have tried and checked their credit card statement would be great!

You get a discount using Hotelstorm hotel portal if you are an Amazon Prime member. It was announced a few months ago. If my memory serves me right, sometime in February.

I just found it in my email about the Hotelstorm deal. Chase sent it to me March 23, 2017. The promo code is "amazonreward" and use your amazon prime rewards card. A person can get up to 60% off on hotel stays purchased through their portal.

I didn't know this. Never got one for my Prime Visa Sig & I am a Prime Member still. I wonder if this is an everoyone deal or selected customers? Might need to try this. Where should I go? Lol
