Input needed on second Capital One card

HI, I got a Platinum Cap One shortly after discharge from Chapter 7 in October of 2016. They allowed me to change it to a Quicksilver card a few months after that. I just got my Credit Steps increase and it's at $3800. My plan was to obtain another card at some point in the next couple months and let them grow until the BK falls off, then reevaluate. I want to purhcase a home in the fall of 2018 (earliest I would be eligible).

So, I found out I am prequalified for a QS card at about 7% lower interest, with a $100 bonus if I spend $500 in 3 months, and no interest for 9 months. My thought was, I may want to bite on this, then combine the two cards for one QS. I haven't and don't intend to carry a balance, but who knows what may happen one month in the future. 7% is a pretty hefty difference. And a free $100 is nice.

So, is there a downside to this that I may be misssing (other than AA and the hard pulls)?
