topic Chase FU pc from CSP in Credit Cards

Hello all,

Just a quick backstory, I pc a 3 year old CSP to a FU back in February/March. I have been wanting to lower the APR on that account for quite some time. Throughout the time I had the CSp, I was unsuccessful in lowering the APR since Chase doesn't lower the APR for CSP. Now that I have the FU I want to lower the APR, BUT, of course, I still don't qualify for a lower apr. Question, does anyone have any insight on what can be done to successfully get Chase to lower the apr on my NEW FU account?

Thanks!

I have never been successful in getting Chase to lower an APR no matter what the product. The reps always told me they don't take customer requests to lower APR.

Chase does not lower APR upon request. While rare, some people have gotten an auto-reduction. A family member got a reduction to the lowest advertised APR on a very old Freedom (possibly over 10 y.o. at the time).
