AMEX PRG -> Platinum Conversion - Questions

Hi All:

I've started to get the offer pop up in my Amex account for 60k points when converting to Platinum.

(1) My PRG AF just hit yesterday. If I accept the conversion do you think the $195 would get cancelled off in favor of the $550 new AF?

(2) Want to confirm that converting will not show a new inq or new trade line on my accounts.

YES

Make sure you follow the linkks through the e-mail and don't do it with a rep. If you do it with a rep you'll have to fight for your bonus in the end.

Fee basically moved over or prorates the difference of the upgrade. Pay the $195 and the remainder just show up within 60 days.

Same # and everything..... nothing adverse on your CR.
