my credit limit was 4200...before the increase...I WANT MORE!! ..lol..

How old was your card. Mine is about 4 months old and I was thinking about asking for a CLI.

When you requested the CLI with AMEX on their website did it tell you instantly if you were approved or not?

double check the warnings and good advice I was given on my thread Holy CLI Batman- too many CLI's in a short time can spoke a FR.

yes you find out instantly, no more then a min, I wanted to ask them for 20k but I only had the card for 1 month, so I didn't think that would look good, so i wanted to play it safe.

you can find out instantly sometimes- but you can also get the 7 to ten day message- I got that and had to call in about 2 days time. I was not denied- got it.

What was you CL prior to the increase - how much of an increase did you ask for at one time & how long have you had the card?
