Time to use TYs after Citi account closure?

I am planning to call Citi for retention on Prestige.

In the unlikely but possible event that they close the account immediately without playing any games, would I have time to redeem my last TYs? I only have like 2k points at present, but I should do something with them first if I'd lose them immediately upon account closure.

Once an account is closed, you should have 60 days to redeem the points.

Rather than call to cancel, ask if they have any retention offers. If they do, great, if not you could leave the account open long enough to redeem them they way you want. Then close the account. Amazon is a quck way to get rid of them if not the most beneficial.

Got a rep who was eager to have me talk to retention. Took the 10k, $3k, 6 months offer.
