LOL, it sounds weird but what I mean is what cards out there should people leave open at all times? A great company that you would love to see age for years and years and still have it open 20 or 30 years from now?

There are two companies I wouldn't mind aging with right now but I'm sure there are more...

American Express
Citi Bank

What do you think?

If you don't visit Europe regularly I wouldn't bother with AMEX , unless you can spend 6.5K on the card, to get 5% on every day purchases and 1.5% every thing else over 6.5 annually, with their blue card, it might be worth dealing with fact, that if they think you have to much available credit they will freeze your account without notice till you provide them with tax returns I may be wrong be it seems to that AMEX is losing popularity in the US, while more places seem to be taking Discover. I have learned one reason merchants would possibly shy away from AMEX, because they take their fee right off the top, like the way payal works, where as Visa and mastercard(haven't herd about Discover) send merchants a bill. I'm buying Fico Deluxe some time in August after my reports update, I'm guessing they all will be 750+ also I'm buying my Experian Vantage score just for kicks, so they can tell me how horrible my credit is, they are always my lowest score cause they get queried the most. and if my scores are that high, I'm applying for Discover More card, you can get cash with your pin at walmart just like a debit card, and it doesn't count as a cash adance

The first card that I had was CAP 1 secured. It has a history from 1995. I have to pay a year fee of $35. Even if I never use it, I would never cancel it. It is no longer secured!

My other cards have time on them but not as much. These I use as there is no year fee.
