Best Restaurant/dining percent back cards?

What are the best credit cards that give % back for dining and restaurants? I'm thinking OTHER THAN Discover/Chase Freedom (i.e. rotating categories), or Huntington Voice (where you pick the category), etc. Is 3% pretty much the upper limit? Any cards that give 3% but have another 3% category as well? etc.

3% cash back is the upper limit.
CSR gives 3x points on dining AND travel. Redeem at 1.5 cpp = up to 4.5%
Chase AARP gives 3% on dining AND gas
Marvel MasterCard gives 3% on dining AND entertainment
Amex PRG gives 2x points on dining. Redeem avg 1.3-1.5 cpp, basically around 3%

CreditSnorlax is correct - 3% is the upper limit. Capital One Premier Dining Card gives 3% back on dining, 2% back on groceries, 1% on everything else. Also *no* foregin trasaction fees.

The SSFCU Power Travel Rewards WMC gives 3% on dining, travel & gas plus a 10% bonus on earnings each year, so total bonus of 3.3%. You can get full value if redeeming for gift cards starting at $25. Dining and travel are some of the best spend categories (3.3% for gas isn't top of the market), and the only reason why this card isn't top of mind is because it is geographically restricted. If you can get it, it's awesome.

I'm getting 3% (have to choose it as a category) on Amex SimplyCash Plus and I also get 5% at office supply stores and mobile phone.

If you do more "Fast Food" than "Restaurant", then Cash+ might work well (Choose 5% Fast Food and 2% Restaurants)

Sync's has two good dining options in Sam's Club and Marvel MC. Both are 3% for all dining. Cap One has the new Premier Dining Rewards for 3% dining. Chase AARP is another popular choice for 3% dining.

I believe these cards all have other categories of interest. Sam's has 3% travel and 5% gas. Marvel has 3% for a lot of other entertainment categories, such as movies, book stores, amusement parks, etc. AARP has 3% gas.

Don't forget that Discover uually has one quarter a year where restaurants get 5% cashback and if it's in your first year you get double matching (10%). Not useful if you want it to work year round every day but it can be useful for 90 days of the first year.

ABCD - Definitely. And if you're thinking ahead during that quarter go to your favorite restaurants and buy giftcards to use during other quarters that way you still get your 10%.
