Airfare through Chase UR - first time question

I am to about purchase airfare and am not sure if I should buy it outright or use points through the Chase UR portal for my particular situation. My work place reimburses me for business-related travel expenses (just need to provide a receipt). But if I buy with points, does the receipt indicate a dollar value amount or just the amount of points that I used? I don't think my work would reimburse me if it only shows points...

I would think it would say points. If you get reimbursed why use points? Just use the card to get points.

Don't use points for business travel that's reimbursed by your company.

Use business travel to earn points, personal travel to spend them.

Exactly what Jamaica said use business travel to earn points and personal travel to redeem them, also to answer your question yes it only shows points not $ value.
