Jetblue Card Plus

Hi everyone!

I been reading about the Jetblue Card Plus and I'm really interested on getting it, basically because Jetblue is my main airline. Before going forward with the application process my three bureaus credit score is 750+ with no baddies.

What things should I consider before applying even with my score and no baddies in order to get approved?

You should have no problem. They approved me instantly with clean reports TU around 740 and two existing Barclays cards (4 months since my last approval). Income, debt to income ratio and any existing Barclays relationship are some things to consider.

As mentioned above, you should have no problem. When I applied for my JetBlue Plus card I had ~700 scores all around and about 4 new accounts in the previous 3 months. Low utilization, zero baddies or missed payments. Was approved instantly for $5000 (my largest SL).

I agree, you should be good to go. I was 12 months post-BK7 with TU in the 650's. Still surprised it was approved, bt so glad because I really like the card. Just bought my first jetBlue Vacation with it, and the $100 account credit posted within a week! As far as I'm concerned Barclays is on the ball! 😀

Yeah you should be good. I got approved when I had 10 months of credit history and my score was a little over 700 I think. Barclays gave me double what my largest limit was.

My latest TU from Walmart is 805, is that the same TU Barclays is going to pull?

I originally had applied for a barclay arrival + during my rebuild when my accounts were less than a year old. They declined me saying they wanted to see my accounts be over a year old. Score at the time was 720. Denied on recon.

fast forward to when my accounts were over a year old this card had come out i was excited to apply.

instant approval

transunion pull 750

nobaddies

income 75k

SL 14k

i love the card for the 6x points on jetblue purchases and gives me 50% statement credit on inflight purchases super fast.

i actually took them up on the initial balance transfer offer for 3k with no problems. ( people are always saying barclay hates when you do balance transfers )

I applied today for the Jet Blue Plus Card online. I received the 10 day notification instantly. Called the backdoor number and they reviewed my application. They asked for SS, Utility Bill with current address, and Driver's license. I got everything except the utility with proof of address because I am living temporary with relatives, without that I would not be able to move forward with the process.

Any thoughts on this?

Well even with a cellphone bill, they still want a bank statement with my current address. Thing is I have the statement but without the current living address because they don't have a branch in USA. I never though this would be so hard... Even with no baddies, great score I don't think I have a lot of options in order to recon this. I just moved to USA a year and couple months and I believe on their records they might have a mix of address from past to current...

So I decided to call again to the backdoor number and pretty much was the same thing. I will provide the paperwork next week and see how it goes. Never realized I would be into this for a credit card, specially with my good record and no baddies never ever so far... As soon as I get the decision I will let you guys know. Thanks for the help!

Fyi, the Walmart score is a genuine FICO8. Same as Barclay's uses.
