Crown Jewelers Lowering Credit Limit?

Hi All!

Okay, so I looked at my crown jewelers account today and they suddenly reduced my credit limit to $500 from $2500. I haven't been late, I made a purchase about 3 months ago ($100ish) and have paid it off each month... I don't understand why?

Anyone else experience this?

Thanks a bunch... I emailed crown asking them to raise my limit back up to $2500, we will see what happens!

I haven't been on the forums in a few months (Thats how I missed the CJ Post)... It was too tempting being on here daily... I wanted to app every good CC I saw being talked about... :-) but now I am back... Everything is cleaned up as well as it can be credit report wise, now it is time to grow my credit and garden what I have..

Just wanted to update those who are interested... I emailed them about the account and the CLD and they instantly reinstated my credit limit!

My new motto- "It can't hurt to ask as long as they don't do a hard pull!"
