Thought this was a cool offer ive noticed on my Amex account.

Spend $50 on Amazon get 2000 MR points.

Not too shabby.

Im lovin Amex right now, my second go around. Ive been incorporating pay in full mentality and have basically been paying my charges after they post and just today made a payment. It was instantly taken and my credit limit instantly updated, sorta like Citi. Ive been trying to lay the groundwork for my next cli request in August hopefully going from 3k to 9k

I grabbed it the other day. That is easy to do and I can user all the points I can get. Amazon is cool. I wonder is gift cards count on the site for that?

Question swizz,

if i use , do i have to store Amex as another payment option with Amazon or can i make a one time purchase? I already have Disco, and both Amazon cards as main payment options.Thanks.

Make amex a payment option. I think you can pull it out after the purchase(once it post anyways on Alex). I do that with disco when they had a promotion a few months back. I like to keep secure and the less cards on file with retailers the better(unless it's a store card).

I did not see that thank you my bratha! Just grabbed it, see this is why I am getting rid of my amazon card.....I don't use amazon a lot and would rather get the MR points!

Didn't get it on any of my four cards. I used to get a lot of good ones, but have been in a drought.

My YTD spend with them is only $8k...though I've never noticed any clear correlation between spending more and getting decent offers.

Unfortunately there's no Amazon love for me this go around... but if you need Shari's Berries or Crayola I have it covered.

The last 'good' offer I had was the Hulu offer, and that was only on my BCP (not on PRG or ED).

In my case both my PRG and ED are already linked to Amazon (I used them previously for Amazon 'pay with points' promotions) so perhaps that has something to do with why I didn't get the Amazon offer... of course that's just idle speculation.

Lol, thanks BlackSwizz. Was thinking of making a purchase on Amazon now i think ill use this. So i take it its pretty good. Id imagine so seeing as it took me 1k spend to get my 10k mr point sign up bonus

i've been bummed by my Amex offers lately. i used to get a ton of good ones, but nothing lately. Pretty jealous of your Amazon offer!

Checked both of my MR-earning cards, and no offer for me.

Just another reason I'm considering kicking Amex to the curb.

Nothing for me on my 4 MR-earning cards. I would have happily given up $2.50 in Amazon statement credit in exchange for transfering 2000 MR points to 2000 Marriott points (with a connecting flight as 666 Starwood points, of course).

Lol, i checked my green too but nothing to really write home about. A couple nice ones if i used a hotel like 60 bucks credit or to that liking.

I wish i could hook everyone up with the Amazon one lol. I find it amazing that everyone gets different offers at different times. Definitely will start to keep an eye peeled for these offers

No problem AJC. Don't get many offers I can really use but this, hotels, and quick trip. Others are posh digs I don't shop at.

I've got that offer also. Of course my son just received an Amazon package yesterday. I told him to let me know next time he's ordering!
