I have read that a few places as well, but unfortunately I just have one card with BofA. I've also read that a CLI would trigger it, but it's not worth a hard pull. Thanks for the suggestion though!

QUESTION: Bank of America Mid-Cycle Update

Hi everyone, I lost track of time this month and let my BofA Cash Rewards report a 57% balance this month. This is typically the card I report a small balance each month, so the big jump and higher utilization dropped my scores around 8 points. I'm not usually one to care about month-to-month fluctuations like this, but I'm working on refinancing my house and this drop bumped me down enough that it will make a difference. Having no luck asking a CSR for a mid-cycle report, but I've seen some stuff online that says reporting the card lost will trigger an updated report when it is reissued. I don't mind being without the card for a week or so, but before I go through the hassle wanted to see if anyone has any experiance with this? Or for that matter any suggestions as to an easier way to get an updated report?

Thanks in advance!

I can't find the thread now but I remember someone reporting that moving credit limits between cards may have triggered a mid-cycle update as well. Do you have more than one card from them that you can move $1000 between?
