Amex PRG changes now that Gold is done?

Did the Rewards and Benefits change on PRG? I went to look to see how to get the TSA Prescreen thing paid for, and I didn't see it. I also didn't see the free hotel night. Plus under annual fee there is no mention of the $195 now. It seems to be free except if you want additional cards. Maybe I am reading this wrong. I know they got rid of the Gold Card so did they combine the 2 into a new PRG?

Ok. So I see the AF is still there. It looks like the TSA Global Entey benefit is gone now for PRG. I wonder if I can still get it since it was offered when I was approved for the card? That was a huge benefit to me. I'm mad I didn't do it ASAP now.

Not great if it's gone, but I can't really count it as a HUGE benefit, less than $25 a year and a lot of cards offer it

When I initially got my Platinum, the TSA PreCheck thing came with it and that was May of 16. When I got the PRG in July of 16, I saw nothing of the PreCheck reimbursement. Then again, I really didnt look to hard for it because I had already gotten it through my Platinum.

Gold is gone? hmmm... It is! But the PRG is $0 for the first year, then it's $195 AF.

I read a lot on PRG and never saw anything about a free night and precheck. Has to be confused with Platinum.

I've never heard of a free hotel night with PRG, and the TSA PreCheck/Global Entry credit is certainly only for Platinum - one of the reasons I upgraded, in fact.

Amex offering Global Entry credit for PRG would be insane! Let's say you're a family of 6 - that's a conservative $500 value for MR points as a sign-up bonus, plus $100 back on the primary cardholder's card for airline credit, and then with no additional annual fee for up to 5 cards and the fact that GE extends to additional cardholders, that's an additional $600 in statement credits - all of this for $0 the first year, with no commitment to keep the card past the first year.

There was no TSA recheck or free hotel benefits with PRG.Looks like there is some sort of confusion here.

I bought more Delta egift cards last night to finish the double dipping since the card is nearly a year old. Just in the nick of time!

yup. Sounds like plat perks....we all could wish AMEX was so generous with the PRG...
