Discover Secured Graduated Tonight

Opened around the end of December with $200 deposit. Got the email tonight saying my deposit will be getting mailed back and my limit is increased to $500. All I did was charge $100-150 a month and pay it off in full every month. I didn't think they even reviewed it until month 7. I'm on month 6.

Congratulations! Do you know what your credit scores are? My boyfriend just got this secured card on Monday with a $300 limit and his current FICO is 504 (Equifax).

Congrats on graduating! I'm considering getting this card too, because I IIBed Discover and am not sure if I can get back in with them yet for an unsecured. Can I ask if you IIBed them? Also congrats on graduating at around the minimal amount of time!

I opened my secured Discover account in December with a $500 deposit. Over 4 months I gradually increased my security deposit to $2500.

My TU FICO was 583 when I applied. As of the last statement my TU FICO was 674.

Tonight I got an email from Discover:

We're returning your security deposit.

Because you've shown responsible account management, you're getting your security deposit back. You should receive the check in the mail in 5-7 business days.

Nothing else changes with your Discover it® chrome card. You keep the same account number, the same rewards, and the same credit line.

Life is good.
