Basic 1.5% cash back card with $100 sign-on bonus. I guess 1.5% is still market average for now, but just barely. Lot's of cards offering 2% or better now and I don't thnk Santander has the most stellar reputation. No fees for balance transfers and cash advances is pretty nice for those that use those things.

The card may be actually awesome, but, unfortunately, the second I see "santander" I mentally run away. Even if your rebuilding, there is another way. And probably better way. Just my 2 cents.

All the nos seem nice but this looks like a long app time as i understand they dont do online apps. Ive been around here long enough to realize i dont need Santander in my portfolio. Lol, their offshoot Island Finance wouldnt even give me a $150 loan, the minimum so i move on .

I think it's a good card, combining many features into one card.

How often do you see a cash back card that has no balance transfer fees, no cash advance fees, and no foreign transaction fees?

There still is interest charges on the balance transfer and cash advance options. So just a carefully worded ad to get people to take it over the Quicksilver.

Santander is known to do the bare minimum for their card holders when designing a product. At first glance they look ok but they always leave a hole or two compared to average and are always behind everything else. I do know that a lot of merchants like to use them for card processing though so they must be looking at the other side of the coin for their profit. I have no problem with them but I have not ever seen a product worth getting from them.

It's not a bad offer actually. The balance transfer APR is 3% for 12 months.

You must be within their banking footprint.
