Need to get a backdoor number for them to see if they will lower my interest rate. Regular number is NO HELP at all

Hi afewcrowns

FIA = BofA

Therefore look in the thread located in my siggy for backdoor numbers.

Look under BofA and you will find the number you are looking for.

I had to call a few times but eventually got a CSR who agreed to help me out. I would suggest calling back, being nice, assess the mood of the CSR and if they are not nice back to you, hang up and call back another day.

Tell them you will be forced to do a BT to another card unless your rate can be lowered with FIA. (hint: AmEx Blue is offering a 12% BT rate)

If they are helpful towards you do them a favor in return and ask if you can complete a customer satisfaction survey or leave a voicemail with their supervisor.
