This is a good 3% cash back card for gas and dining. I wish it were gas and groceries instead of gas and dining, because those of us with Amex MR cards, Chase UR cards, or Citi TYP cards already receive 3% dining rewards.. Also, this card has foreign transaction fees that would cancel out the rewards if the card were to be used for dining overseas. On the bright side, apparently this card is not subject to Chase's 5/24 rule.

I saw this offer too and have been comtemplating taking it b/c it is indeed a great offer. But my only beef with Chase is once they give you a low limit--you're pretty much stuck with it for the life of the card. Yes there is the rare occasional auto CLI and requested and approved CLI with a HP--but I"ve never seen either on the 3 cards I have with them (FR-$1.5K + CSP and Hyatt $5K each) and I've had them all 2 to 3 years. Even though my proflle has drastically improve since then (with the exception of a somewhat recent 30 day late) I wouldn't want to app and get another $5K lifetime limit---so I'm kind of leaning towards passing as of right now.
