Is this card comparable to the Hyatt now that it is offering a higher signup bonus ?
I want to get a hotel card and have been weighing the options between IHG and Hyatt.
Trying to decide which one I should get !

The IHG sign up bonus was bad for a long time compared to the others.
Any suggestions ?

I apped for both and have both. I prefer the IHG. Just many more places to stay and the points go a long way for those hotels. The Hyatts are very nice but I've found some IHG properties that were just as nice without paying for parking. lol

If I want to spend that much money to stay some where at the cost of the Hyatt nights..I'd just rent a house or villa of some kind instead.

and the annual fee is great too !

I am glad that I held off on getting my hotel card !
Looks like it paid off, IHG must have realized that their
previous bonus offering wasn't pulling in too many new customers.

I had to do it. Instant approval at 12K. Already online. They are quick. Score at the time of app was 706.

I have the CSP currently and it is at 5% utilization. Way over 5/24 the limit on the CSP is 5500 and i couldnt get a CLI a few months ago.

WOW! Congrats Mine is $8K though I did both (Hyatt and IHG )back to back and ended up with 8K on each. Which is more than enough for my hotel spends. lol

Yup this is true. They always pull EX and EQ for me. I've never had a TU pull from Chase.Thats also why I grab two cards from them when I can. Makes that double tap more worth it for me. ha ha

She already has the CSP with a 20k limit and her scores are mid-700s so I think she should be fine. I'll post back with the results after her app.
