It's not metal and from the few people who have posted with an approval for it, they received higher limits.

Considering the card. They recommend "excellent credit" defined as > 3 years of history, yet I've just hit 1. Scores and CL's in siggy.

I know I'll get the 3x HP, but since I still have a part-time income the SP CLI's will be valuable for me down the road. (I've considered the BCE as well but would like more V/MC limit because of acceptance rates -- has anybody here had good luck with Chase for a HP CLI after an auto-CLI?)

Are lower limits issued as a WEMC? Is it a metal card? (The latter doesn't affect my decision, but a metal card in my wallet would be nice...)

Thanks all!

And I know what they recommend for 'excellent credit'. Take it with a grain of salt because the venture also states the same about requiring excellent credit (says no defaults) yet people with BK including myself have received the venture.

IMO i would not app for it, Cap One seems to be unfriendly to students and those with young files unless you apply for the crappy student card. Go with Amex.

I got one, but I also had a QS with them for a little over a year. My oldest was 3.5 yrs and AAoA was a little over a year. SL is $5000. Scores were around 750.

The card is advertised as a WEMC so if you get it it will be WEMC (though there can certainly be some minimum limit requirements). The card is not metal.
