I am getting ready to pay that down with my tax return. I had them direct deposit BT into my checking account to pay an attorney to sue Portfolio Recovery so at least I wouldn't pay interest on it while litigation is pending.

Even more puzzling is that I could have sworn BOA has received substantial, multiple billion dollar tax payer assistance.

I just logged in to my BOA account online and noticed the credit limit listed for my Accelerated Cash Rewards Amex is $500 instead of $5700 as it used to be.

I had a balance of $276 on this card that I was logging in to PIF. The statement cut with it, so perhaps for some reason that triggered the CLD.

I'm going to have to talk to a credit analyst to get to the bottom of this and see if my CL can be reinstated.

Citi was given over 36 billion to "lend" to stimulate the economy, and I know five of us on these boards were declined by Citi last week, and 1 person was only given a small starting limit. We all have decent scores too.

That bailout is a joke. Nobody who received any coin is loaning it out.

@Anonymous wrote:

Even more puzzling is that I could have sworn BOA has received substantial, multiple billion dollar tax payer assistance.

Sorry to hear that. I hope you have some success restoring it to the right CL.

I half expect to see the same thing every time I log onto any of my 'prime' CC online sites. I've got the same card too.

CU cards are the way for now IMHO.

Good luck and sorry again.
