BCP 1st year AF??

Just saw on my statement ill be charged the 95 bucks for the annual fee, don't you get your first year with no AF? Did I miss something...?

It depends on the terms of the offer you applied through. The current public offer on the "Cash Back" part of the Amex website does not waive the fee.

Do you have a record of the offer you used?

There should be a thread with the best current offers from Amex so people make sure they get the best deals. All the deals I have seen from BCP is at best 250 dollars cash for 1000 spend and 95 annual fee not waived.

Every offer I've seen for the BCP shows a $95 AF not waived the first year. Same for EDP.

There are a few cards that waive the annual fee the first year like the PRG, Delta Gold, and Starwood but BCP is not one of them.

With no AF there's ED. I don't think a waived first-year AF on Green is so great because the card doesn't really merit an AF in the first place.

It would be unusual for someone to really need NPSL and yet not get enough value from PRG or Platinum to justify a higher gross AF.

Green card is literally useless. Amex should really redo it's rewards, like 2x points for every purchase, or 2% cash back, because then I would really want it! Especially being a 2% cashback card.

That would fix that card, 2% back charge card, #Dreaming. 😉😊
