I have two QS that were PC from other products and I was thinking about PC one of them to the no annul fee Venture One. I'll avoid Venture as I am a student and won't spend $3,000 in three months.

Edit: The purpose of this thread is to read the opinion of those who would oppose PC one of the duplicate QS to Venture One and to consider it before taking action. Since the Citi Double Cash already trumps QS at 2% cash back, I have decided that the QS has no practical purpose other than being in my collection. Therefore, to diversify my collection, I have decided to PC one of the QS to Venture one.

Thanks for all your opinion!

One thing to consider is maybe perhaps doing a combination and transferring over the limit of one QS to another and closing the account. I myself I've kept my two QS cards only because one of them is my oldest card so I don't know what your credit situation is to see if that's even an option you want to consider.

There's zero benefit to changing a QS into a VentureOne. The QS is simply a better card. The rewards are higher, and redemption is more flexible.

There'd be possible benefit to PC-ing to a Venture. But you'd have to commit to spending $11,800 per year or more to exceed the QS's rewards value.

If Capital One were to offer product changes to their dining card in the future, I could see that being a reasonable option.

I have a lot of cash back credit cards and the Citi Double Cash trumps both QS with 2% cash back. Since I have a numerous number of cash back credit cards in my signature, it appears that I collect them rather than have practical purposes for all those cards, hence, it would make sense to PC on of the QS card to Venture One to diversify my credit card collection. I CAN'T BE THE ONLY ONLY COLLECTING CARDS for the SAKE OF COLLECTING.

However, thanks for expressing your opinions!
