Target MC UPGRADES

Just curious has anyone who was due to get their upgrade in August received their new MC yet? I haven't heard anything since my upgrade letter and wondering when they plan on sending out the cards.

Hello,

My deadline to opt out was 8/8. On 8/9 I logged into my account and noticed the last 4 digits on my card changed as well as I now have a cash credit limit and available cash. Just yesterday I received an email that my card was shipped and expect it in a few days.

FYI, my card arrived in Friday's mail. I was a little disappointed that the card had the old MC logo, but I'm guessing they just have a bunch of them left over.

Yes. They sent some of us letters informing us of the upgrade about 2 months ago.

You might want to make sure you update your income on the target web site, and also let your balance report on your monthly statements before payng in full. Thats the best way to get auto CLI from target. And I suspect that is one reason why I was targeted for the MasterCard upgrade. That, and I have a good credit score.

It seems that letting a balance report and using your card frequently results in CLI. Some of us have received letters stated that our cards will be upgraded to MasterCard in August. Then an email is sent out saying to keep a lookout for your card in the mailbox.

Maybe i need to wait a bit longer. Just received a CLI about two months ago. I do use it/let it report/pay in full. Fico scores are in the 680s (maybe not high enough).

Most people should be getting theirs sometimes by the end of the month, or beginning of Sept. I got a letter in the mail yesterday, detailing the new MC has been mail and should arrive shortly. Possibly this week.
