Got the following msg today. This is a good offer when combined with using the Venture card. I was just about to close this card. LOL

Take 5% off any flight when you book on our new travel site September 6–13.

When I read the subject line, I thought that maybe Cap One was offering a 5% reward for paying your traffic ticket.

You're thinking of their Parole and ParoleOne series cards. It's 5% off bail bonds, commissary purchases and misdemeanor court costs, only 2.5% if you have the ParoleOne version with annual fee.

I really like my card, I got the orange one, really bright.

That's really cool. I wonder what types of deals/offers/discounts will be in the travel site moving forward (after the introductory incentives to get people to use it).
