I did notice a 1500 mr offer for $100 spend at US Supermarkets for my Everyday card. Holy moly reading the fine print makes one feel like those medicine commercials where the side effects are worse than the actual illness

I was hoping to get that one on either my ED or PRG, but nada on both. Their algorithm probably picked up that I use my BCP nearly exclusively for groceries, so why give me an 'offer' for spend they're getting anyway.

If I were to need a hotel or AirBnB offer those I have plenty of... LOL.

They had this last month along with cell phones and just went I went to add it to my cards, the offers had disappeared. This new offer is on my Platinum, EDP and PRG. Enrolled all 3 this time around.

Edit-mine is bit different, spend $100, get 1K MR points which I believe is the same as it was last month.

Amex had 10% back offers on cable and cell phone bill payments on my BCE last November, December, and January. I picked up a quick $45 over the three months.

I had 1000MR offers for cable and cellphone bills on my ED. Paid Fios and received 1000 for each categoy; 2000 MR for 100 bucks.. And it will be every month until Nov 15.

Amex doesn't give me much low-hanging fruit these days. My wife got this one on her ED last year, though. Best offer I've had recently is 5,000 MR bonus for spending $5,000 up to 3 times in a month or something. They must miss me putting essentially all of my spend on their charge cards; they're still getting the majority of it on SPG so hopefully no hard feelings.

Once i hit 2,000 for the 25k sign up bonus, i won't be using the PRG as much. I seriously should not have jumped the gun applying for it. Should have looked for the better bonus.

I'll be putting more spending on BCP and Discover.

Why do you put most of your spending on the SPG? What's so special about this card (keep hearing about it)?

I'm effectively getting 5-6 cents per Starwood point because of the 3:1 SPG to Marriott conversion and the way I've been redeeming Marriott points. A little nervous about what happens when the rewards programs get combined but for now enjoying it immensely!

Also, for years and years 99% of my spend was on my Gold card. My current goal is to get one of my cards to a $100,000 revolving credit line. That's going to either happen with BOA or Amex. I assume if I am throwing a lot on the card, it's going to boost my chances with Amex.

I got the offer on my BCE. I decided to pay $300 toward my cable bill in advance just to keep bookkeeping simple and to get things over with. I got my $30 back the next day.

Quick question guys, for instance once you add a deal to your card where can you locate it to see if its on your card. Way back if if you remember i got the spend $50 earn 2500 mr points on Amazon and added it to my ED. I believe i have til Dec to use it. Will it show up if i use it to pay my Amazon purchase of $50? Ive never actually used a deal yet. Thanks for any info

Split my Google fiber into two payments. Had the 1000 MR points available on one of my cards and one of my wife's cards. Thanks for the heads up.

Told my wife she also has 15% of Starbucks up to $5 per visit through September.

Hey Average, when using the mobile app, if you go to offers, the first tab will be my offers, click on that and you will see all the offers that you picked which are still active. I have yet to use the website to view offers. Actually the only time I used the website was to apply for my cards.

Well this just popped up on my BCE card. Spend $150 or more at contacts.com get $40 back. This is a NO brainer, plus, I can pay the Amex bill with my flexspending account reimbursement. Time to get another year of contacts! I guess my new Saturday morning ritual will be to check Amex offers.

Add the offer to your card, and make sure you make the purchase according to the terms and conditions yada yada. I just added a $10 coupon for Harry's.com after I ordered razors. (😖) I then ordered a new razor and got an email from amex saying I got the deal.😁
