I knew that they waived fees and lowered interest rates to 6%, but I had no idea it carried over to their new loans! And the thing is that I didn't even ask for it. I just got the email! Where else can you get $20,000, interest free, for 3 years? Thanks, Amex!

My thoughts exactly! I have been a member since 1999. It was my first credit card in college. Maybe that helped?

I took a quick look at the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act, and I think all service members should be made aware of it. There are a lot of ways those who are called to duty are protected from eviction, reposession of automobiles, cell phone terminations among other things. I never served, but I admire those that have done so and do so today.
