First Credit Score-Discover Secured

Hey all, I just got my first credit score and its 746 according to my Discover FICO score (not sure if this is FAKO). I got my Discover Secured card 6 months ago when I turned 18. I was wondering how I will know if my card is unsecured/ when that should happen. Thanks!

You will be notified by Discover and the will return your deposit.

When? Hard to say exactly, but an est 6-12 months 🤷🏽‍♀️

You can search other posters experiences by typing in "discover unsecured" in the search box for more data.

That's an awesome FICO score, not sure why you went secured instead of student route, but it worked and you've managed well!

For you I'd say they'll be returning your deposit 1-2 weeks after your 7th statement cuts.

It's not a FAKO, its a real score, pulled from TransUnion, or at least it says so on my page.

Though I still haven't gotten a score yet, two months in...

But congrats and good luck on the journey to unsecured!
