Should be interesting to see some data points coming into day on it.. I applied this morning as had a HP CLI a few weeks back on my merrill to bring it to 35k they should use the same HP, but went to pending/review so we shall see.. Can't turn down 500 dollars bonus and card pays for itself each year with incidents and then include TSA, etc if you can use and card is a no AF card. So 1 pending application here will update if approved or declined. At 50k exposure with BofA right now, so shall see how the dice role. No sign yet of a new HP

Hopefully if approved they don't rob for peter to pay paul.. Meaning take anyhting from my Merrill or BBR to open it. Suspect 50/50 chance.. Just cancelled my 3-2-1 last month with them so maybe will leave me some room on the bone and yeild an approval or not

Chase United Travel Bank, Amex Delta Blue, NFCU More Rewards, and now BOA Premium Rewards. Four of the five rumored cards are now available. The only one left is the nationwide rollout of USAA Limitless. Which card issuer will be next, Citi? Meanwhile, PenFed Power Cash Rewards is still hot seven months after release.

@CreditCuriousity BoA will reuse a HP from weeks ago?

I was hoping to see some fine print about what qualifies for the airline travel credit and if there's a 10% rewards rebate for BoA account holders but haven't found any yet. I likely won't go for it anyway. $500 bonus is actually $405 after the AF. The travel incidental and global entry credits are not a big deal to me since I probably wouldn't spend on those otherwise. And the 2x and 1.5x earnings make it inferior to Venture or Arrival+ which also have lower AFs.

I'm going to try my luck on a Venture in a few months. If that doesn't work out I might try for this one.

Yes they will reuse a HP from weeks ago. They did for my application/approval.

When I got my BoA denial in May I had inquiries and new accounts that were less than a month old. I tried them again a few weeks ago and got approved. Plenty of new accounts and inquiries on my EX report but they were all at least a month old. Make of that what you will.

Updated Denied... Least it wasn't a new HP. Don't know if I will try to recon it or not. I got a 10k HP CLI on my Merrill a few weeks ago to 35k. Just checked status and turned to declined. Oh well as no new HP. Exp Score at last pull was 718. Exposure with BofA 45k atm and six figure income and 5 experian inquiries in the last year for those interested in some DP's. Alot of denials on reddit and DOC site for people with very high scores.

first denail with bofa ... two cards currently with them.. Cancelled my cash rewards with 15k CL alittle over a month ago.

I don't see any language on the Premium Rewards app (unlike Travel Rewards and Cash Rewards) explicitly saying the card participates in Preferred Rewards.

So yeah I figured with BoA using the same HP for 30 days (TIL) I had nothing to lose by submitting an application. Denied.

I didn't figure I'd get it with so many new accounts the past few months. I got approved two weeks ago for two other BoA cards so I'm thinking that was enough for them. EX score at the time was 748 and showed 7 inquiries in previous year (9 total) and 9 new revolving accounts in the previous few months.

The card absolutely participates in Preferred Rewards, which is why this is an absolutely no-brainer daily driver for anyone with BOA/ML/ME assets! And unlike the Travel Rewards card, cash back can be redeemed at the same rate as travel credit, making this alternately a 3.5%/2.625% cash back card!!!

To answer the inquiries/new accounts question, it depends on the profile. For me, it has never been an issue with double-digit inquiries (half of which are from BOA anyway) and lots of new accounts.

Reconned and denail stands. Guy was very nice (although doesn't help me lol )... Was too many BofA CC in the last year. 2 cards with them < 1 year old. Oh well tried and didn't hurt me at all, probably actually helped my AAoA .. would of liked the bonus though!

Rumor is BOA wont approve if you have more than 2 approvals from them in the last 12 months. This is probably why so many are being denied on reddit, DOC etc.

Well I only have one card from them but I have $6500 of sign up bonus spending I need to complete in the next 3 months. I will have to wait until January to take my chances.

possibly a new rule when they clamped down on anything over 4 cards you started getting axed.. Kinda why I closed my 3-2-1 last month was awaiting this card/bonus, but I failed lol.. Least I got a CLI out of it and had a plan so wasn't a waste of an inquiry. Still have the BBR I can hit CLI on with same HP. Whether I should or not is another story. Ya very strong profiles on reddit are getting denied people with > 100k with bofa/merrill getting shot down left and right. Anyways don't know if you don't try. Just adding my denial DP.
