Amex Honors Surpass card

Started this so as not to hijack another thread. I got the Surpass card a couple of months ago and recently completed the spend on it. At the time, it did not include the free weekend night that's offered now. Tried to get it included via chat, but could not get anywhere. Is there a possibility of calling CS and trying, or just accept the fact that I'm not gonna get it.

When I first got mine I was online and responding to a 75,000 point offer. I had trouble with the website; therefore, I called my application in. I explained to the rep that I was responding to an online offer for 75,000 points. He took my application over the phone and said I was approved. Later I learned that the over the phone offer was only 50,000 points. I tried chat and calling in to complain and request my additional points. It was a no-go. I then called again and filed a formal complaint. They never contacted me back. When I saw that I only received 50,000 points I called to see what happened to my complaint. I was told that they concluded that I was not eligible for online offer because my application was taken over the phone. Once again, I stated that I only called in because I had trouble with the website. It didn't matter. They said no again.

Meh, oh well. I'll just move on then. Thanks. I did get the 100K points though, so there's that.
