I got the regular macys card, wish idve gotten the AMEX when I applied. Whats the difference between the two....?

Not much id say but for the fact the Amex version runs on the Amex network and can be used anywhere Amex is accepted while the Macys store card is store only.

Also the Macys AMEX is not issued by AMEX, but by Department Stores National Bank.

The Macys Amex really isn't a good rewards card. Its basically 1% for out of store purchases. There's many better options for out of Macys stores purchases.
