Hey everyone,

im currently rebuilding after a BK7 discharged 11/2015. My EX and TU are in the high 500-low 600 range and EQ is trailing behind due to some fraudulent activity. EQ is low 500s. I was just recently approved for a Cap1 secured @ 200 and a QS1 @ 500. I also have a Wells Fargo secured @ 1000 and 3 student loans, 5k each in deferment.

I had a Lowe’s card that was IIB. I paid off $10,000 of the balance a few months before BK but it still had about $2500 balance. I’m wondering how forgiving they are or whether I may be able to get back in with them.

Do you guys think once my EQ disputes go through I may have a shot being that it will be right at the 2 year post discharge mark? Any other cards you think I should try before gardening for a year or so?

I would say your chances would be better if your TU scores were mid 600's. Synch is not that hard to get "back" after BK. I IIB several Synch acts and had them all back 6-8 mo after DC. But then again, my scores were 650-680 at the time.

Why are yours so low for being 2 yrs post? Did you start rebuilding later instead of right away?

synchrony has varying approval odds for their cards, i was denied for lowes (even after recon), but yet landed walmart card 800 SL. denied for amazon store card, didnt waste my time to recon, yet same day citibank approved me for 7k SL for AAdvantage MC, so YMMW.
