PC from QS1 to VentureCard?

Hi! I just paid off my CC balances and now I am debt free on my cards. I have two cards with Cap 1:

Platinum (Secured card that was converted/upgraded) w/ $750 CL
Quicksilver One w/ $1500 CL

I travel fairly often and would really like a Venture Card for the benefits. I’m not eligible to link my cards and combine my CLs, so I’ll have to keep two card accounts open with Cap 1.

Does anyone think I have a shot trying to PC from a QS1 to a Venture? I want the Venture and not VentureOne.

The minimum CL for a Venture is $5k, so, unless you're eligible for a CLI to equal up to the amount, its doubtful. You can always call in and ask though, never know.

Ah, good to know! I was trigger happy and pressed the CLI button but got the 2-3 day message.

It’s likely my payments haven’t hit my reports yet, so I’ll hold tight for another month and then try it again, see if I can get a nice CLI, and then try to PC.
