I doubt it based on best buy cutting credit limits in half these days and not caring about whether customers close their accounts.&nbsp; But, I guess you never know until you ask.&nbsp; Good Luck, I cancelled all my cards with HSBC recently (Best Buy, Best Buy MC, Carson's, 1 Orchard Bank Visa, 1 Orchard Bank MC, and another HSBC Mastercard) I feel like I can breathe now!

I have Best Buy MC RZ. I have only $450 CL. If I were to goto Store and try to purchase a big ticket item and ask the store manager to call for CLI, any chance HSBC might increase the CL on my Card to facilitate the purchase?

I wonder if it would work to have the store manager call to get it increased then after they increase it, pretend to think about it a little bit then tell them you've changed your mind. <img id="smileywink" class="emoticon emoticon-smileywink" src="https://ficoforums.myfico.com/i/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif" alt="Smiley Wink" title="Smiley Wink" />&nbsp;&nbsp; Only to help your util.

It's a good idea but they have pulled a copy of my report twice when I asked for a CLI from them online.
