Synchrony Luv Button ???

I keep seeing where people are requesting a CLI through a button/click once logged into their account. Where is this **bleep** CLI button?! I'm fairly new to Synch. Does it not appear until after a couple statements or something? If someone could screen shot and show me how to find it, I'd really appreciate it!

I don't know if it's true of all Synchrony accounts, but you don't actually log into "Synchrony" but rather the store card you have. For example, Lowe's. That being said, I would imagine that not all of these dashboards are created equal and the way a CLI is requested may differ slightly. With my Lowe's account, you just go under "Services" at the top right of your main login screen and the very first option is "Credit Line Increase" in the drop down menu.

Probably depends on which Synchrony card you have but it appeared for me on the Paypal 2% CB card after a few weeks of having the card. Its on the summary page right under your available credit limit for the Payapl 2% CB card. So if our new to Synchrony, maybe wait a few weeks or a statement or two? The Paypal card is relatively new so maybe that's why it took a few weeks to appear. Don't know, I'm new to Synchrony myself.

I don't remember exactly when the "luv" (CLI) button first appeared on my Amazon Store Card account, but it was there on my first attempt in late March, about 4 calendar months after I'd gotten the card. So I'd say that it'll take at least a couple of months for that functionality to be added to your account.

Note that, up until very recently, not many people were having much luck with the luv button on their Synchrony cards so they had to call the backdoor Credit Solutions numbers to request CLI's. However, Sync recently did a revamp on that part of their cards' sites which apparently included reprogramming the computers to make them a LOT more generous when it comes to granting CLI's (and also allows you to input the amount you'd like to request). Check Credit Card Approvals and you'll see a flood of posts from people who finally got the Sync luv button to actually show them some love the last few days.

When you guys are referring to the button "showing up" are you saying that when you go under Services (for example) that "Credit Line Increase" is not in the drop down list as an option? I've personally never not seen it there, which is why I'm confused.

I find the term "luv button" to be sort of bogus, as it's not actually a button, rather just an option from a drop down list.

My Amazon store card didn't have a button anywhere for 3 statements at all. It also never showed chat available, ever.

Finally I posted on here about it and literally a few hours later chat finally went green so I went in, requested a CLI and was instantly approved $500->$5000 (which I asked for) and then maybe a week or two later the CLI request button/link showed up and it's there permanently now.

Just hit it for the first time and asked for $10k but they countered with $6k. Good enough for now.

I did start off with a toy card limit so maybe that's why no CLI button at first until I was out of toy card hell there?

At least for me on the Walmart and Sam's Club pages the CLI button/request link has been known to appear and disappear from me at times when I go to check charges and pay the bill. Considering I haven't request a CLI in god knows how long there seems to be no ryhme or reason for it from what I can tell.

Both my Amazon and my Paypal 2% had the luv button show up about 2 weeks after the 1st statement cut.

The button for sync cards is a literal button just like "make payment" it often (usually?) isnt there for a while after an account is first opened. Like I said earlier in the thread it was a blank whitespace for about a month for me on each card, until first statement cut.

I never understood the term Luv button myself, and I get no "luv" from sync at any rate, but yea theres an actual button as shown on the screenshot up a few posts

I guess our definition of "button" differs a bit then. The screenshot on the previous page with the Lowe's account just shows that if you go under "Services" on the drop down menu "Credit Line Increase" is one of several selections that can be made. I personally don't consider a drop down menu selection option as being a "button." A button to me, especially if someone is saying that "sometimes it appears, sometimes it doesn't" means a rectangle somewhere (like the "post" or "quote" buttons on here) that says "Credit Line Increase" on it.

I just find the term "button" to be sort of silly/bogus, as every time I've heard "button" used it's never really been a button.

Lol, the luv button can be an actual button or whatever its technical name is or anything on the site that you can use to request credit limit increase. I just go with the flow as thats the lingo we use here on Ficoland. If its not chat or calling, we xall it the luv button and just like love/luv, its not always peachy

I hadn't really thought of trying for a CLI on my store card until reading this thread. I saw the button on my page and decided to to request a limit of $10k (from $1900) so that there was ample room to counter offer and now I have a $10k limit. Not even mad.

I guess we call it a "button" even though it's usually a link or menu and not an actual "button" per se. But, the term works since it describes something on the page you can click to request some "luv" (CLI).

As for why it appears and disappears, your guess is good as mine... maybe accounts aren't always eligible for them, or they have a buggy site, or load balancing servers that are out of sync (one that has the button and one that doesn't).

On my Sam’s MC, mine as an actual button right below the limit box that says “Request More”. It appeared after 1st statement cut. It paid out twice yesterday taking me from $5,050>$10K>$15K
