Is there any credit card shopping portal that gives points for iphone x ? I tried chase utimate rewards but they don't include iphone x ..

Not sure if Apple is included with any direct CC portals, but they are included in SkyMiles Shopping (Delta) and Rapid Rewards Shopping (Southwest) portals.

I thought most shopping portals don't give cash back discount on iphones, but I could be wrong.You can search cashbackmonitor and look and see which is best fit for you

Good point! Just checked Delta and up to 2 iPhones count but not the iPhone X:

FWIW, unless you need it right now, the Discover portal will change the language after a product is no longer "new". I have been in the cycle of paying "cash" for my phones now for years. I wait until the language changes on Discover Portal and they remove the device I want from the restrictions, then order directly from Apple.

Did this with my iPhone 6s, and my 7+, looks like they have already removed the iPhone 8 language (which was there a few weeks ago).

Discover is 5% CB

Chase is 3x UR points

Your best bet is to use a rewards card and gain instant rewards. Discover Deals and any other sites is not going to include iPhone X for a long time (September next year when new phones are announced).

Navy Federal Member Mall gives 2% on top of 1.5% for shopping with apple. No exception on merchandises. So, it is 3.5% total.

I'd suggest getting the US Bank Cash+ if your credit score is good enough because you can get 5.5% (in the first year, 5 thereafter) back on payments direct to the carrier or even Best Buy

I used Discover when I pre-ordered my iPhone 8. I don't recall it including language about that specific model when I clicked through, and finally just the the confirmation of the bonus miles about a week ago. 5x miles on a double miles after first year promo = 10% back!

If you don't have a Best Buy credit card, they offer 10% back in rewards on your first purchase.

Well now iPhone X is delayed into December if you haven’t already pre-ordered for launch day delivery. Is the additional cost over the 8 worth it for the marginal upgrades? I have a 7 that is still blazing fast and works perfectly.

Cash back should be available on the 8 via shopping portals.

You answered your own question. If the upgrades are marginal but the price difference isn't, it's not worth it.
