Hey guys,

Has anyone ever used their credit card return protection?

I upgraded my phone with Sprint a few weeks ago and got a BlackBerry because I wanted to give it a chance... I absolutely hate it and I want to go back to my Samsung Galaxy. Well, my return period is over with Sprint and they won't take the phone back since it's been over 14 days. I was wondering...if I pay the $528 and purchase the phone out right (instead of leasing it from Sprint), can I file a claim for return protection with my Chase Sapphire Reserve? Their return policy states they will offer returns within 90 Days & up to $500 for a single item. Cell phones are not on the list of exclusions.

Can anyone think of a reason why they would deny the claim and not offer return protection on a cell phone?
