PayPal 2% MC cycle day

I recently got the PP 2% MC. Called the customer service line to find out the cycle date. Rep told me that the first cycle date is 30 days from my first purchase not 30 days from opening account. Can anyone else who has this card confirm this is true, pkease.

That was not true in my experience. Since account opening, the statement date has fluctuated between the 19th and 20th with the exception of the month of February. My first statement included approximately 14 billing days.

Yeah, another uninformed rep. I just checked - my PayPal 2% MC was approved in early July, my first statement was July 20, and says "Days in Billing Cycle: 12". In other words, it's anyone's guess when the first statement will hit.

Thanks everybody for the info. I had a really good idea that the rep was wrong. I repeated the question to him multiple times thinking that maybe a language barrier was the culprit. But nope, just another uninformed rep. I knew I could count on the community though😁
