Got a call from discover that I will not be able to use my card until I sign a letter they are sending me. Have any one had to go through this? I think it's because I have no credit

Discover it unsecured, I think it's an address verification but I already sent in a bill and ssc

I just called back and was told it's ssa documents. I think it's because I have a new number because i was a victim of identity theft and it was created after 2011

I never did but let me tell you what a disaster it was with them confirming my bank account, the deposits in my checking account. When I'd enter them, it would always say it didn't match. Discover had to do it 4 different days. They had to keep canceling application and redo another with me on phone and redo the "trial" deposits .....what a mess it was! It took over a month to get card from date of when I applied because nothing went smooth.

Man I hope I don't have to deal with that, but my situation it's because I had got a new ssn after June 2011 and some creditors haven't updated their system

My problem was that they pulled experian and on my experian it has the correct address but wrong city smh.

Wow, sorry to hear about your id theft situation.

On another note, you are the second poster ive read about recently who has been able to get a unsecurd Discover with no score. I didnt even thnk that was possible. Its taken me 6 total hps over the course of the last 3 years to even get approved

If you have anything reporting (but still under the 6 months), EQ will generate Fico XD.
I had to look up what it was, and basically all I got from it is that most info for XD is fed to EQ by LN, such as rent, utilities etc...

my wife is dealing with this same issue now she opened her discover IT account spent maybe 200 dollars then they put a hold on her account and she had to send them a SS89 form she faxed it over a week ago still waiting for them to release the hold i will get her to call tomorrow to see how the progress is because thursday makes 2 weeks since she faxed it in
