Looks like I found what I was looking for.

I was also thinking in PCing mine to the pathfinder card to get the Global/TSA and $100 statement credit. I don't want to get a new account since I just applied/approved for the AMEX Platinum Ameriprise on 3/2/2018.

Dang it lol

My DW has a PenFed Premium Travel Rewards American Express which is not much useful to us know. We were wondering if that card can be chaged to PenFed Pathfinder Rewards American Express. Does anyone have any experience with a product change with Penfed? Thanks!

I believe they don't necessairly do product changes as much as they just cancel the current account as closed and open a new tradeline with the desired product change so it's more like a credit transfer only with a new account opened. Also might have to take a HP to do it.

I don't think they'll do a HP, but it's definitely a closed TL and a new open TL so your AAoA will take a hit.

Hmm, it that case it will not be a good option as it will take a 5/24 slot for my DW (as it will report as new card) which we do not want. Thanks guys!

I currently have a Power Cash Rewards, and I don't really see much point to PC'ing to one of their Signatures and having to close my current account, and even more so since with the PCR I get 1.5% straight cash back on everything and their Signature card gives points rather than cash, and to get their highest rate (5x) you have to use it for gas, and I prefer paying cash for gas (due to my particular circumstances I only need to buy gas every couple of weeks on average). That being said, I know the PCR has a Signature version though I don't know if Penfed upgrades any of their "base" PCR users to the PCR Signature.

Just got off the phone with PenFed and was told I need to apply for the Pathfinder and can't PC from AMEX travel card. She didn't even give me an option to close/move balance to the Pathfinder. Will call again later today. I rather have the $100 travel credit and TSA $100 credit.
