speaking of capped, Barclays has offers of 0% capped at $50! but it's only for 6 months.

BoA is nice because of 15 months offers for sure.

FYI - I received the paper checks from BOA. The terms were 0% until March 2010 - but there was a 3% fee. I called and asked if I could get a cap. They asked how much I was willing to pay. I said $75. They asked if I would do $150. I said $75 or I did not need it. They did it for $75. I put most of my 3 BOA CL on that card and took all of it. They are going to direct deposit all of it in my bank account - good times.

Could be a good BT option, or a good emergancy fund for $75 - which you can easily make be in interest if you get a similar offer. Best luck

yup that's true, that's why he wants a cap. If he borrows $10000, he only pays $75 which is only .75%.

@Anonymous wrote:

Could be a good BT option, or a good emergancy fund for $75 - which you can easily make be in interest if you get a similar offer. Best luck

It might be hard to find a savings account in this economy that provides a rate of >3%.

the convenience BT checks I receive from BOA have said "fee capped at $75" in the fine print.

maybe they customize what it says in the fine print for each person?

I am sure they are customized - I have often seen them send out least adventagous to more and more adventagous over a few months. With the current climate - I did not know getting a $75 cap was possible though.
