USAA existing customer offers

Hello everyone, I am curious about whether or not any of you have received either Low APR for Purchases, or Low APR for BTs and you are an existing customers. My parents were targeted but they have the lowest rate offered, unlike me. My question is if you were targeted did you have an APR higher than the lowest offered?

I am wondering if they only sent offers out to people with the lowest rate....

tydawg ... sorry I am not much help as I have been a member for several years and never received any special offers or auto-credit limit increases. Wonder in fact why they have the option to turn off auto-credit limits ... seems not too many people have written up receiving them.

It's been a few years since I had an 'Offer' from USAA.

That's actually how I got my (now seldom-used) USAA Rewards Visa card... that was back in the Fall of 2014, and I give that card credit for helping to 'jump-start' my credit life. Now it's only used for BT promos, though.

The only thing I have there now is the ongoing 'offer' for the extra cash-back on my existing Limitless Visa (they show it as an 'offer' to indicate that you get the extra cash back for having direct deposit). Other than that it's crickets for me.

I will add that in late 2015 I did get the elusive auto-CLI from them on the Rewards card... they bumped it from $7k to $8.4k. It was an unexpected but welcomed increase. I'll also add that it was modest compared to the CLIs I've received by taking a HP.

Edited to add: I had forgotten about having an 'offer' for an auto loan for a few months a couple of years ago. It was at a rate that was not competitive (at all), and I've not seen it since early last year (I think?) but I guess 'technically' it counts as an offer.

Is your APR the lowest? What kind of BT offers do they give you?

On that card my rate is 18.15%, so it's their 'in-between' rate (on the 'Rewards Visa' the rate runs 11.15% to 27.15%). At the time it was approved my rate was 16.9% if I'm not mistaken (pre-Fed increase), which at the time was great for me (I still had a few old baddies reporting at the time).

Last spring I got an offer for a no-fee/0% for a year balance transfer which I promptly took advantage of. Just a couple of weeks ago I transferred the remaining balance to NFCU to take advantage of another no-fee/0% offer.

I'm showing an offer for the Rewards American Express Card @14.15% Variable 0% introductory APR on all purchases, balance transfers and convenience checks until Aug 2019. Also showing an Auto loan (first time i've seen auto loans) @ 5.90% (crooks). I have no credit products with USAA at this time.

Thanks for sharing wowcool, I have found their auto loan rates to be some of the worse as well, Penfed was the only one that seems to want my business even less.

I have zero offers from them. Could be because I have 150k in charge-offs with them. They can be spiteful.

@Anonymous, I went back and edited my previous post to reflect that I have received an offer for an auto loan. Until somebody else mentioned it I had completely forgotten about it, and for good reason... it wasn't competitive at all.

I think the offer was there mostly back in 2016 (and possibly early 2017?) but I've not seen it in while. I'm not exactly broken-up over it, though.

Sorry I didn't think of that earlier.
